The Mission and Outreach Committee focuses on educating our congregation on local and worldwide mission programs and opportunities.

Ongoing opportunities for service for newcomers and longtime members include:

• preparation and sharing dinner for the nearby Women’s and Children’s Shelter
  
  
• filling “Christmas Child” gift boxes with essential education and fun items to be sent around the world
  
  
• sharing in our traditional “sing-along” Christmas-time party we host at a local Montgomery Street Men’s Shelter ongoing collection of our pocket change as part of “Cents-ability”, an important source of funds for local food banks
  
  
• monthly contributions of assorted goods/supplies for the Commercial Street Inn shelter
  
  
• annual Crop Walk
  
  
• coastal clean-up
  
  
• working with a local elementary school to provide school supplies for kindergarteners on their first day of school
