Eleazar Inciarte is pleased to announce the debut of a men’s choir on Reformation Sunday, October 26.  He would like the men to perform a selection on the last Sunday of each month.

Music News – Kidz Muzik - Kidz Muzik is back!

The children’s choir practices each Sunday at 12 noon (following worship). Children are encouraged to invite their friends who might enjoy singing to the Kidz Muzik choir. Teens are also welcome and encouraged to sing with the children – especially in preparation for Christmas performances. Rebeca and Alanna will be sending information to parents soon with practice information and performance dates.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Children's ChoirOur music directors Eleazar and Rebeca Inciarte are working to start a new Children's Choir at First Presbyterian Church. Rebeca has identified some beautiful music and is hoping to work with the children as a group soon. She has worked with several in a small group setting and is hoping to launch choir rehearsals with the children together in a larger group. Parents will be surveyed in order to determine the rehearsal time that will work the best for all. Rehearsals may be scheduled for Saturdays @ 11 a.m. in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church or on Wednesday evenings and will last approximately one hour long.

The choir is intended for children ages approximately 7 years (children must be able to read well) through middle school (exceptions can be made). They will be using percussion instruments as well as developing vocal skills. They will be trained in a group setting to either sing or play simple instruments, which ever they can do better.

The types of music the children will be working with is very diverse: All styles from the world over, including national, original languages, typical national classical, with a message in agreement with the Bible’s principles.

While older youth (high school) would be welcome to sing along with the children, they may also join the adult praise band/choir. Teens should see Rebeca or Eleazar if they are interested in joining the choir.
