Spiritual Formation at First Presbyterian Church:
First Presbyterian Church takes seriously its calling
to nurture and strengthen the whole person. Through
Bible study classes, prayer groups, support and mission
groups, First Presbyterian Church honors the work of
the Holy Spirit in the growth of every Christian. Equipped
by God with differing spiritual gifts, we are nevertheless
part of the greater Body of Christ. We offer the following
opportunities for spiritual growth:
- Prayers: Support for our entire
church community.
- Bible Study: Meets
on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm at Town Park Towers, 60
North Third St., in the library. Please bring your
Bible (or use one of ours) Everyone is Welcome! Bring
a friend!
- Advent & Lenten Study Series: (Wednesday
nights during the Advent or Lenten Season) offers
great food and fellowship, as well as thought- provoking
discussion series that challenges the mind, strengthens
the heart and challenges us to take action.
- Pastoral Counseling (by appointment): Through
the pastoral counseling ministry at FPC, many of our
members and friends gain invaluable insights into
their journeys of faith.
